报告摘要:

Wireless power transfer (WPT) using near-field magnetic coupling that pioneered by Tesla has attracted extensive attention recently. It has a broad range of applications such as biomedical implants and battery chargers of portable electronic devices and electric vehicles. In this talk, current research and development of wireless power receivers will be presented. First, design challenges of active rectifiers and state-of-the-art solutions will be reviewed. An adaptive on/off delay compensation technique will be introduced. By adding two feedback paths to the active diodes, the on/off delays are accurately compensated for under all conditions by the proposed technique. Second, a new receiver topology that uses a 3-level reconfigurable resonant regulating (R3) rectifier will be discussed. It will be shown that the proposed receiver can greatly improve power conversion efficiency and reduce cost and volume of the system by realizing one-stage power conversion plus regulation.
